Hi, I’m Eric! I have had a passion for baseball for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing the sport and listening to St. Louis Cardinals games on KMOX. In 2020, I joined the Society for American Baseball Research and combined my interest in baseball with my love of writing. I have since contributed dozens of articles to the SABR BioProject as well as essays for the SABR books One-Hit Wonders, One-Win Wonders, and We Are, We Can, We Will: The 1992 World Champion Toronto Blue Jays.
My first book, Runnin’ Redbirds: The World Champion 1982 St. Louis Cardinals, was released in 2023 by McFarland Books.
My second book, Season of Shattered Dreams: Postwar Baseball, the Spokane Indians, and a Tragic Bus Crash That Changed Everything, was released in April 2024 by Rowman and Littlefield Publishing.
Originally from Illinois, I now make my home in Washington state.
